How to calculate bonus turnover
How do I calculate casino bonus turnover?
Calculate bonus turnover by multiplying the exact wagering base named in the terms by its multiplier. Bonus-only uses B × rate; deposit-plus-bonus uses (D + B) × rate. Then adjust your progress for eligible-game contribution. Do not substitute the headline bonus value when the terms define a different base.

- B × rate
- Deposit + bonus
- (D + B) × rate
- Deposit only

- Chance of winning
- 1Write down the deposit (D), bonus (B) and multiplier.
- 2Find the defined wagering base in the full terms.
- 3Multiply that base by the rate.
- 4Apply game-contribution percentages only to progress, not the starting formula.
Turnover arithmetic is simple once the terms identify the base. The practical risk is using the wrong number.
Label the inputs
Use D for qualifying deposit, B for bonus and R for the wagering multiplier. If D is $40, B is $40 and R is 10:
- B × R = $40 × 10 = $400.
- (D + B) × R = ($40 + $40) × 10 = $800.
- D × R = $40 × 10 = $400.
Contribution changes progress
Suppose $800 remains and a particular eligible game contributes 25%. A $4 stake reduces the requirement by $1, not $4. To produce $800 of credited progress at that rate would require $3,200 in stakes. That is arithmetic, not a recommendation to continue.
Use the exact contribution table for the offer; never apply a generic percentage to a named game.
Keep expiry and maximum stake beside the result
The turnover total is only one constraint. Copy the deadline, maximum permitted stake, excluded games and whether withdrawing or cancelling forfeits restricted funds. A mathematically smaller requirement may still be unsuitable when the deadline is short or the eligible play is narrow.
The calculation does not estimate value
Turnover cannot tell you whether you will win, finish with a balance or enjoy the play. Games have random outcomes and a house edge. It also cannot verify that a feed card or old screenshot still matches the operator’s current terms.
Set a budget first. If the formula reveals a commitment larger than you intended, the useful answer is to decline the promotion—not to increase the budget.

Questions
Does required turnover predict my loss?
No. It is the amount of qualifying bets required. Outcomes remain random, and the eventual loss or win cannot be calculated from turnover alone.
What if the terms do not identify the base?
Do not assume. Ask the operator for the applicable rule before depositing, or choose an offer with clearer conditions.
